Kim asks...
"I'm an amateur photographer so I'm not even sure if this is good. But I like nonetheless. What do you think? How did I do with the perspective?"

Kim--
Nice to meet you....just signed up today....I'm really "pumped up" on what's happening on this site.
I'm not a photographer but I'll have some fun giving feedback....but don't take them seriously!
1. At first glance it's beautiful....colors really grab you.
2. At 2nd glance, the "vine" really distracts from the overall photo.
Maybe cropping the photo a little bit....have some fun with it...and then taking a 2nd look at it!
Again....nice to meet you...and keep on "clicking!"

I agree with Roger. It looks like the focal point is slipping out of the picture while the brown mulch steals the show. Lovely colors and a wonderful sense of returning to nature.

I like the perspective, what I am not sure about is the focal point. What's the main thing you want me to ooh and ah over? That's the focal point. I do like the colors and the feel of the photograph. :-)

Wow colors indeed. I'd tend to agree with Roger on the composition though - it seems like it would have worked to get a little lower to the ground and flatten out your angle a bit, so you could make that big orange flower a more complete part of the composition - get the contrast of those oranges against that incredible blue.

Wow, colors. Wow.

your pallette is really great, but i am having trouble discerning what your focus is in this picture. are you most interested in the brown mulch, or is it the criss-crossing of the stems that interests you? If it is just the colors of the flowers, i think i might consider this pretty successful, but still it needs a little more focus through the veiwfinder.

i really like your composition here. the balance from left to right is very nice. Those colors really are fantastic. like, really fantastic. :D
