Well with so many online sites that I have set up it's hard to actually keep up with them all AND keep producing artworks.
This one I painted for the One World One Heart blog giveaway, keeping one for myself as field notes for a larger canvas one day. It is the view from further up the ridge, where I live. I have been taking my morning walk up there and each morning the mists are different, but always beautiful.
Lately I have been busy getting some pieces ready for the annual Blue Knob Hall Gallery's' Fibble Fabble Fibre' exhibition to be held in April this year instead of June.
Following that it's a rush to complete my two exhibtion Hats for the Alice Springs Beanie Festival, along with either 10 extra hats or up to 50, if I can manage to score a cheap flight, (which isn't looking good at the momment ). Maybe I'll get to the 'Dreaming Festival' at Woodford in early June instead, and sell some hats on Adi'sHat stall. (Adi Dunlop the founder of The Alice Springs Beaniefest)
After that I have time to focus on finishing my large Mt Warning canvas with the yellow sky (still unfinished...! ), to exhibit it along with a new landscape hat in an Exhibition at 'Salt' a large tourist resort on the coast, near here, as part of an exhibition to launch a Coffee Table book of Women Artists of the Tweed, that I am part of. That's in early September, which is good as there are few festivals in between that I'll be working at the Chai Tent, serving Chai and Cakes.
